More from this series:

Love MoneyNext and want to know more about the people behind it? Well, we’ve got you covered. Introducing our Meet the Team series, where we catch up with our incredible team, delve into their roles and chat about what a typical day looks like for them.
If you ever wanted to know what the day in the life of a Marketing Manager is like, you’re in the right place.
This time, we caught up with Raluca, our Marketing Manager, who has been with us for 2 years. Raluca handles all things paid and helps oversee our PPC strategies across all our platforms. See what Raluca had to say when we caught up with her below.
Tell us about you, your role and what your day to day is like.
I’m Raluca, the Marketing Manager at MoneyNext. Since day 1 in the company, 2-and-a-half years ago, my role has been like a rollercoaster in terms of day-to-day tasks. From physical events promotion and working in an office, to digital events strategies and working from home, I’m always improving my skills and implementing new concepts for events. There’s definitely no boring day juggling with new website content, being on top of the SEO optimisation, managing our database and emailers, keeping an eye on campaign analytics or delivering paid ads, and creating visuals for events promotion or learning video editing.
What’s been your favourite event to work on?
So far, all events that have brought new elements and made my job more challenging were my favourite! Everything involved with building MoneyNext as a brand – from new CMS, web design and subscription models to Mark’s unique stamp on delivering digital events… and seeing how much we’ve progressed in just over 1 year is a big achievement.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m an outdoor person and enjoy going on hikes and camping, taking my paddleboard out at sea or on the rivers, swimming or just cooking healthy food on a rainy day.
Number 1 tip for keeping a healthy work/life balance?
Make your schedule for the day and stick to it!
